As the husband of a teacher and a father of two daughters, I know how important it is that every child has access to a strong education and a real opportunity to succeed. In Senate District 20, our communities are growing and changing, and our schools need the resources to keep up. Education is about making sure every student—no matter their background—has the support, teachers, and opportunities they need to build a good life.

That means investing in our public schools, so classrooms aren’t overcrowded and teachers have the tools they need to help students succeed. It means supporting career and technical education so students who want to work with their hands can step into good-paying jobs right out of school. It means making college and job training more affordable, so families aren’t buried in debt just to give their kids a chance at the American Dream.

Strong schools make strong communities. In Augusta, I’ll fight to make sure Senate District 20 has the resources they need to support students, respect educators, and give every child a fair shot at success.
